The Lost Dog New Music Ensemble headlines the Queens New Music Festival, in a program of works by 2014 Pulitzer‐prize winning composer John Luther Adams. Adams’ music draws its inspiration from the beauty and majesty of his Alaskan home. Lost Dog will present two of his recent ‘Aura’ compositions, ‘Four Thousand Holes’ and ‘The Light Within’, which surround live musicians with gorgeous halos of electronic sound, as well as a rare performance of the early work ‘Make Prayers to the Raven’.
